The Department of Industry under the Ministry of Tourism, Trade, Industry, Commerce and Ni-Vanuatu Business recently hosted a workshop on Vanuatu’s brand – ‘Vanuatu Made’ at Holiday Inn.
The Department of Industry is in its consultation stage on the National Industry Policy Review.
This week 43 participants from both the private and public sector attended a half day consultation on the draft policy.
The Department of Industry (DoI) under the Ministry of Tourism, Trade, Industry, Commerce, and Ni-Vanuatu Business (MTTICNVB) will undergo a significant review of its National Industry Policy (NIP) in the upcoming remaining months of 2017.
The DoI is inviting local manufacturing industries around Port Vila, Santo, Malekula and Tanna including government stakeholders and donors to the participate in the NIP consultations, as well as the NIP Review Inception Workshop which will be held today at the Melanesian Hotel.
August 23, 2017 marked another milestone for the Ministry of Tourism, Trades, Industry, Commerce and Ni-Vanuatu Business (MTTICNVB) when it officially launched its Department of Industry (DoI) Tafea Provincial Office.
The event coincided with the official handing over the appointment letters of the Tafea Handicraft Industry Working Group (THIWG) members.
